Pear Plum Mozzarella Salad
[Summer Recipe]
Once the summer arrives we all start to eat less heavy hot food and more light and cool dishes. The most popular summer dish is probably the fruit salad. It’s fresh, it’s delicious and it’s good for your body. Unless you put a pound of whip cream on top of it :).
Today’s salad is a mix between a dessert and side salad. It’s piquant and sweet at the same time. I’ve discovered this recipe on some cooking TV show at my mom’s house. A 12 years old boy, who loves to cook. came up with this this amazing recipe. I changed a little the original recipe by adding some of my favorite ingredients. Bon appétit!
Peel and core the pears and plums. Keep the pear’s skin. Halve the tomatoes and cut the pears and plums in thin slices. |
Mix the spring mix with Mozzarella, tomatoes, pears, plums and basil. |
Add some sunflower oil to the pane and saute the pear’s skin for couple minutes. |
To make the dressing mix 50 gm sunflower oil with 30 gm honey, juice of 1/2 lemon and the pear’s skin. |
Puree everything with the hand blender. |
Enjoy! |
